Steve is a 20+
year veteran of the stage. His professional career as a guitarist
started back in Detroit in the mid '80's, where he quickly picked his
way to the top of the Detroit scene. He played with several
notables, but top-billing came with SinCity, a cutting edge, progressive
6-piece ensemble of Detroit's finest. After SinCity disintegrated
in the late 90's, he relocated to the other Big-D... Dallas.
Classically
trained, with an array of axe-slinging influences such as Lynch, Becker,
Gilbert, Malmsteen, Moore, Page, and Perry, his style is a well-balanced
morph of classical, metal, shred, and blues.
Steve's top
axes are hand-made, 100% completely custom, "Morsteve's", that he crafts
himself. These complement his collection of Les Paul, and Ibanez
guitars.
Special Thanks to: "A-train"...
without you, I'm just a middle-aged dude with a bunch of bad habits. Slemmons Music
(Deep Ellum), Sigler Music (Arkansas), Boogie amps, Marshall cabs,
Digitech effects, BBE Maximizers, Korg Tuners, Furman conditioners and
EQ's, OSP shock-mount ATA cases, SKB cases, Tortex picks, Shure wireless
systems, D'Addario strings, DiMarzio pickups, my one-and-only-true-BFF...
Musician's Friend (just kidding James), Andrea, Madison, Jake, and the
other 3 guys that allow me to "shake-paint" with them... You guys
really do rock. |
Born to be a performer, brought up in a family of
professional musicians, Clint picked up the six-string early and
although it took a back seat to his own professional athletic career, he
has returned to his roots to satisfy the calling of his artistic
blood-line.
Clint's family background of folky-blues, coupled with
his love of the mainstream hard rock crunch make his vocal and playing
style uniquely enticing. He has the ability to draw from such a wide
array of sounds, techniques and influences his arsenal is as deep as it
is wide.
Clint plays Ibanez electrics and Alvarez acoustics
exclusively. A Mesa Boogie 50/50 anchors his rack, with a Digitech, modded 2112 providing the tone. Everything powers through to
Celestion-loaded, stereo cabs.
Special Thanks To: ''T'' and ''Pop'' for
helping me do what I truly enjoy. And of course thanks to the one and
only Soul Fingers for making this possible. I could not have asked for
a better guitar and vocal coach, and more importantly a great friend.
Thanks to Boogie and Digitech for helping me find that tone, SKB
Rotos and Furman conditioners for protecting my gear, Sennhieser
mics and every sound guy that can run a board without feedback...
Those that can't know who they are... Keep your day job, please!

Every great band is led by someone who provides musical
creativity and shear genius that inspires mind-blowing sound.
While Jeff is not that guy, his Southern Rock and
Latino influences create a seldom witnessed blend of head banging rock
and smooth stylish grace. Like a good bottle of Jack, his sound
offers a unique spirit and essence which must be enjoyed responsibly.
Jeff's weapon of choice is his drop tuned Gibson powered
by an Ampeg head and delivered by a 4x10 Ampeg cabinet. RotoSound
strings and worn Totex picks round out his low-end sound. Jeff believes
that his bass must be felt as much as it's heard. His turn-ons include
long walks on the beach and daisy duke shorts (worn by females). His
turn-offs are rude people and granny underwear (worn by anybody).
Special Thanks To: the ''Glo''
for surviving the thumping during many hours of practice and encouraging
my musical interests. The bass tech's at SteveCo Productions for knowing
how to solder and knowing the difference between positive and negative.
GC for always being there to fill my needs. My ''Mates'' for their
patience during my learning curve and the hours of enjoyment I
experience at practice. Finally, ''Mom'', for the piano lessons I
received as a child which set the foundation for my "later in life"
musical journey. |
Mic's interest in music and percussion began
when he was very young. He had a
friend who's older brother had a kit,
and he would take any opportunity he could
to get behind it. Its from there
that it all began. As an enthusiast of drumming, He got his first kit
when he was 14, a 5-piece Black Pearl Export. He later learned
his grandfather was a performing drummer, which
added fuel to an already lit fire for his passion.
Growing up in the 80's his
influences were driven by the hard hammering grooves of AC/DC (Phil
Rudd), Rush (Neil Pert), Tesla (Troy Luccketta), and Iron Maiden
(Clive Burr & Nicko McBrain).
Currently he thumps on a 5-piece
Ludwig kit that was made in the mid to late 60's. His snare is a custom maple by Tama. Stands are by Sonor, Tama and Ludwig and the brass is predominately Sabian with the
exception of the Zildjian high hats and splash.
Special Thanks
To: My grandfather
Roland Howell for the genes, Bobby Luna for taking an interest in a
punk little kid, my buds Clint, Steve and Jeff for the friendship and
opportunity to jam and get loud with... thanks boys, and Mark Puschavich for the advice, but most importantly, to my soon to be wife
Clarissa for all her support and willingness to put up with every
aspect of being with a musician... I love you baby! I would like to
also thank Ludwig Drums, Pearl Drums, Sabian and Zildjian
cymbals, DW, MF, Guitar Center, Gator and ATA
Cases.
